The EEC provides a great service to the community, giving residents and visitors tourism opportunities, including birding, photography, and paddling. School groups also visit the center where they get exposure to outdoor learning and leadership skills. Recreational activities include outdoor exploration and fitness opportunities on the water, trails, and a ropes course. Surrounding bodies of water allow students to explore and expand their knowledge of nature and how to preserve it.
