Hurricane Katrina Tree Sculptures
Located along Highway 90, visitors can view beautiful oak trees that have been transformed into works of original art. Dayton Scoggins, an award-winning chainsaw artist; Marlin Miller, and award-winning wood sculptor; and Dayle Lewis, created these sculptures out of dead trees left behind by Hurricane Katrina. Currently, there are approximately 50 tree-sculptures along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. You can view the world’s largest eagle sculpture, standing at 17-feet-tall, located on Highway 90 in Pass Christian.?
