Like any good seafood joint in the South, the food does all the talking. No frills needed with cookin’ this good. Gumbo snobs will find the right rue with savory satisfaction. Although they’re known for their seafood, their hamburgers are rumored to be quite tasty too.

Keep it simple with a shrimp Po-boy, onion rings or fries, and a drink. There are three sizes, but unless you’re playing offensive line for the Saints you should be fine with the smallest. They’ll write your order on a white paper bag and ring you up in the line at the grocery store. If you dine in, you’ll dispose the trash in a slot in the middle of the table. It’s a dining experience made easy.
