Stone County

Stone County was founded in 1916 and is the definition of relaxed southern charm. If you are in the mood for some relaxed fun, check out some of the things Stone County has to offer. In the city of Wiggins, founded in 1904, you can find the Old Firehouse Museum. This museum strives to educate visitors on the preserved history of Wiggins and Stone County. If you have time after the museum, go check out both Cypress Creek and the Flint Creek Reservoir. Fun fact: An alligator has 82 teeth and there are 82 counties in Mississippi
