The Byways to Space network is the only one of its kind in the United States. It includes six different routes that cover over 30 miles near and through the NASA Stennis Space Center’s buffer zone.

Much of the route is graced with the giant moss covered limbs of ancient oaks. Trails go through countryside and waterways, making a perfect journey for outdoor enthusiasts.

Napoleon Scenic Byway is a short drive, loaded with scenic beauty. A roadway serves as the perfect bike ride along the notorious road that connected vital riverfronts. The Audubon Society recognizes a patch of land and a birding site that has been preserved, that was once part of the old gravel pit areas of Napoleon.s!
