Black Creek National Wild & Scenic River

The Black Creek River is a beautiful scenic route winding through colorful vertical bluffs and white sand bars. It’s deep black water flows through Mississippi’s coastal plain, through flourishing plants and wildlife. Trees and flowering plants hang above the banks and river wildlife including wood ducks and otters can be seen playfully swimming and gathering their food.

The Black Creek River is a great place for primitive camping within the De Soto National Forest. There are many accessible trails for hiking and exploring.
