Mary C O'Keefe Cultural Center

The Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center believes that everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy performing, culinary, and visual art events. That’s why the Mary C. is devoted to growing and enhancing their art exhibitions, educational programs, and the quality of life in Ocean Springs, Mississippi.

The Mary C. is housed in a landmark 1927 public school building that is named after Mary C. O’Keefe. O’Keefe was an influential and progressive educator, becoming the first female public superintendent in Mississippi. After the building was renovated in 1999, the Cultural Center has been expanding its facilities ever since.
