BAY ST. LOUIS

During the 19th century Hancock County held America’s largest lumber company until resources were exhausted and the town, known as Logtown, began to decline by 1930.

GEORGE COUNTY

George County, founded in 1910, is the perfect getaway spot for anyone wanting to get close to nature. Hiding in George County is many picturesque waterways like Juniper Bay, Dean Bay, Escatawpa River, and the Leaf River.

GULFPORT

Gulfport, Mississippi is the second largest city, second to the state’s capitol of Jackson.

HANCOCK COUNTY

HARRISON COUNTY

JACKSON COUNTY

Jackson, the county of soul, is an adventure just waiting to happen. Jackson County was founded in 1812 and is filled with both rich history and unforgettable charm.

LONG BEACH

Long Beach, Mississippi, established as a city in 1905, is a quaint town located in Harrison county between Gulfport and Pass Christian.

LUCEDALE

Visit Lucedale and see why this city is rich in community, festivities, and outdoor adventure. Lucedale may be a smaller city, but it is mighty in the way of outdoor recreation.

OCEAN SPRINGS

Ocean Springs, incorporated in 1892, has a population of over 17,000 people living in approximately 11 square miles in Jackson County.

OCEAN SPRINGS LIVE OAK BICYCLE ROUTE

Ocean Springs’ 15.5 mile round-trip Live Oaks Bicycle Route connects the Davis Bayou Area of the Gulf Islands National Seashore to the town of Ocean Springs at the Old Louisville and Nashville Train Depot.

PASCAGOULA

Pascagoula, one of Mississippi’s largest cities, is the County Seat of Jackson County. It is home to approximately 24,000 residents with a daytime population of perhaps twice that many.

Pass Christian, Mississippi was discovered soon after the first French colony in Old Biloxi in 1699.
